Who We Are
Our flagship store is based in the small town of Louisburgh, County Mayo and hosts a wide variety of events open to all members of its thriving locality. Part of the Books at One network, Books at One Letterfrack, is based in Connemara, County Galway, where it offers a warm and inviting space for both locals and visitors alike.
We are equally passionate about supporting indie bookshops and celebrating their role as essential community spaces. The Books at One Community Prize Fund was born through a partnership with the One Foundation, and last year, the campaign empowered 21 bookshops across the island of Ireland to deepen their engagement within their own communities.

Our Shop Locations
The story of Books at One began in 2016 in the coastal town of Louisburgh, County Mayo, before opening a second location – Books at One Letterfrack – in the beautiful surrounds of Connemara four years later.
