“Three Stones: The Cross and the Circle” available only at Louisburgh Books At One Store!!!
Three Stones: The Cross and the Circle illustrates the discovery that the decorated stones of the Knappagh and Boheh are maps of southern constellations that were last seen over Ireland more than 6,000 years ago.
The books shows how the Lankill lightning stone, the Cross Man of Knappagh, and the Boheh stone map out the Southern Cross as it disappeared from Irish skies about 6,100 years ago, not to return until about 15,000 AD. In living memory, local people knew the Boheh stones was principally a place for watching the night skies.
